The core is the most important part of our body when it comes to ease of movement. When our core is strong and open we move easy and free. Muscles of the core stabilize us as we stand tall, as we sit, basically in almost any movement. This yoga practice will guide you to strengthen those core muscles and lengthen them for ease of movement
Lower back tension can really effect our daily activities. A real pain in the back side. I know i used to have awful lower back tension. and then along came yoga. I have to say these simple poses/stretches really help me keep that lower back tension away. Although it pops up every now and then, yoga usually takes it away immediately. This video is about 10 minutes with simple yoga poses to help you release that lower back tension and move with ease throughout the day.

Yoga with little ones can be so fun! They are certainly squirmy no matter how exciting you make the yoga postures so don't stress about keeping them still. You will see in the video below that my little one doesn't stay still for long. It is great to start them young, yoga can have profound benefits for children as they get older. I happen to come from a family of extremely picky eaters. As a child I was one of the pickiest. Now that crown has been passed over to my brother. As I began to try and help my mom jump into healthy eating one of her biggest struggles was to make meals everyone could be happy with.
